Located near Pont-aven, Quimperlé and Lorient, Camping de Locouarn offers hiking enthusiasts, as well as lovers of nature and beautiful landscapes, the famous hike on the GR34 which crosses Clohars-Carnoët. You can also find a marked mountain bike trail from the campsite taking you to the coast.
Also known as the customs trail, this coastal path which stretches over 1700 km was created in the 18th century to discourage smuggling. It will lead you to the pretty harbour of Doëlan and from here you can head for the town’s stunning sandy beaches.
Along the way you can admire a variety of coastal landscapes including magnificent cliffs, sandy beaches and rias. If you head slightly inland, the path will lead you past an impressive heritge including chapels, fountains, calveries, covered alleys and ruins dating back to the Middle Ages.
